Långsam is literally Swedish for Slow. We think Sweden is an incredibly beautiful country. A modern country with big cities and all the hustle and bustle that goes with them. But also plenty of space, tranquillity and traditions. In Scandinavia, they know how to combine hectic and quiet perfectly. They really take the time to relax now and then. We love it!

You can use the wheat pits bag either hot or cold. For relaxation. Let's start with that! Slow down......... For muscle pain. Place the heat pad on your muscles.... For menstrual pain. The heat relieves pain and provides relaxation. For fatigue. As an aggravation pillow: At 2 kilos, the wheat pipsack can provide a sense of calm. Cooling! You shouldn't think about it in winter but on a tropical day, it's great to have the pillow from the freezer in your hammock or lounger. (See FAQ on freezing) Note: Do not use a warm pith bag in case of inflammation. Heat can make the inflammation worse.

We currently have 2 basic colours. Touch of Taupe and Touch of Denim. As our fabrics are from recycled materials, certain deliveries may have just a different touch of colours. That's why our colours are called Touch of .... . More colours will follow in the future to match any interior. Which colour are you still missing? Let us know!

The instructions tell you exactly how to heat up the heat pad. Microwave oven (4 minutes 700 watts) Oven (100 degrees 20 min) The wheat in the pillow heats up and retains the heat well. This also happens in the freezer. Perfect as a cold pack on summer days

Fold the cushion in half once lengthwise. Then fold the cushion over each other in 1/3 sections. Place the cushion on a microwave-safe plate. Maybe we are explaining it a bit complicated. Don't worry! In the instructions you will see it in pictures.

The outer cover of the heat pad is washable at up to 30 degrees. You can NOT wash the inner cushion. For the simple reason that wheat and (a lot of) moisture are not a good combination. A little moisture is no problem. But do not leave it outside on a rainy afternoon.

This can be done in two ways Four minutes in the microwave (on a microwave-safe plate)* Twenty minutes in an oven at 100 degrees * The cushion should not be in direct contact with the grill if the microwave function is used.

Depending on your type of microwave oven, it consumes only 0.02 kWh per minute, which is then 0.08kWh for one reheating round. With current energy prices, that's €0.04 cents per reheating round.

That depends on a few factors. Are you sitting inside or outside? Do you have the cushion in your back and sitting against it? Does the cushion lie on your lap as an aggravation cushion with a blanket? Example: You lie on the sofa at home with the wårmup against your back, then you will feel the real warmth for at least an hour or more. If you use it outside on a winter's day to spend some time outside, you will be wonderfully warmed up, but if you leave the cushion outside for a while it will cool down quickly. But in all cases: within a few minutes you will have reheated it in the microwave!

No. This is a very consciously sustainable choice. We want a product that consists of natural ingredients and recycled fabrics. Super sustainable, in other words. No batteries, plugs, cables, and other additives. We also chose not to import anything from Asia to reduce transport movements (and thus emissions). What about the microwave/oven? Surely those have to be manufactured too. That's right! Only you often bought those for multiple purposes. That is not specially made for Långsam.

Ordered today, delivered tomorrow? No, here too we make a conscious choice in transport movements. We collect the orders and prepare them. We let the carrier collect and distribute everything in 1 trip. Concrete answer: Within 2 to 3 working days you will have your order at home. Slow down in a fast world....
